Project DescriptionRed Plains completed a comprehensive National Tribal Transportation Inventory Update while developing a GIS driven Transportation Asset Management Program in support of the truly unique multi-model transportation network that is the Ketchikan Indian Community (KIC). Our GIS crews performed field conditions assessments on approximately 250 miles of community streets, highways, boardwalks, pedestrian pathways, bridges, docks, ferry system, and parking facilities. This multi-jurisdictional project yielded project deliverables beneficial not only to KIC but to the many project stakeholders who share this transportation network. The GIS resulted in readily available, professional, and verifiable deliverables which included: All RIFDS required attachments, Strip Maps, MOA’s, Tribal Resolutions, Photos, integrated ADT Data, and all the required data for the Long Range Transportation Plan. |
