Dale LewisMr. Lewis serves as a Project Coordinator within Red Plains Professional’s Alaska Region. Prior to joining Red Plains, Mr. Lewis spent 40+ years in government service; 16 years with the US Forest Service and 26 Years with the Federal Highway Administration. As a Transportation Specialist, he is an expert on FHWA and Federal Lands Highway Division (FLHD) contracting and transportation program oversight with vast experience in multiple divisions within the organization. Mr. Lewis provided oversight for the 50 FHWA contracted Tribes in Alaska. He provided technical assistance to the Tribes in developing their Transportation Program, reviewed plans and specifications, performed site visits to review construction practices and compliance with the plans and specifications for their projects, attended public meetings, worked with Tribes to develop Transportation Safety Plans, reviewed environmental documentation, and provided training on a variety of subjects including Construction Inspection, Planning, and Plans and Specifications Review. He continues to serve as an advocate for tribal transportation projects as a member of the Red Plains’ team and provides great value for the clients of Red Plains Professional. |
