Friends,
It is with heavy heart and great sadness that I bring news of the passing of a good man, husband, father, mentor, engineer, businessman, and friend, Mark Farris.
Mark left us on Saturday, September 11th, following the OSU vs Tulsa Football game. He passed quickly after doing something he loved, watching OSU football win (which I’m sure made him happy).
I ask in this time of grief and sadness, that your thoughts and prayers be with his immediate family, wife Lori and children Taylor, Ethan, Conner and Hannah, as well as his extended family.
This news comes at a time when Red Plains Professional, Inc. is gearing up for its 25th Anniversary. It will be an anniversary we will never forget and will look back on with thoughtful hearts, reinforced with our continued drive and passion to carry forward what Mark started so many years ago. The Farris family and the dedicated and talented individuals Mark amassed in the firm here at Red Plains, will carry forward the legacy that Mark invested so much effort in through the years. Even just a few days after this tragic event in our company’s history, our team is poised and honored to continue providing the very best Professional Engineering, Planning, GIS, Construction Management, and Technical Assistance services to our clients. Red Plains will carry on, as Mark wanted and planned for in development of, and in coordination with, the RPP Board of Directors years back.
Many thanks for your understanding and continued support though this difficult time. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact me directly.
Thank you and God bless. In memory of our friend…
