Salad and Go Site Designs - Across the Midwest

Since August of 2022, the Midwest office of Red Plains has been working with Salad and Go, a rapidly growing restaurant chain, when it entered the Oklahoma market. The opportunity arose due to our previous work with Rogue Architects of Dallas, Texas. We have assisted Salad and Go on fourteen locations in Oklahoma and will continue providing services as they permeate a new market of drive-thru and online orders only. Red Plains provides civil design, permitting and construction administration services for each site.

Salad and Go was established in Gilbert, Arizona, in 2013 and is owned by Volt Investment Holdings. They have expanded to approximately 95 stores in four states (Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada). They planned to have 135 stores by the end of 2023 including the surrounding states of Kansas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

Salad and Go’s unique store design contains a small footprint of approximately750 SF which keeps food costs down while minimizing waste. The menu is streamlined with eight salads along with breakfast wraps and bowls priced affordably at less than $10.00 for a salad and drink or $5.00 for a breakfast item and drink. Additionally, while the calories may vary by the protein added, the average meal has only 600 calories, making it an excellent choice for the health-minded individual.
