Muckleshoot Tribe SR164 Bike/Ped Path Planning and Design Safety Project
Red Plains has collaborated closely with the Muckleshoot Tribe on this complex project. We provided support from the initial needs assessment to the Long Range Transportation Plan Update, including Transportation Safety Planning, NTTFI Inventory Updates, Roadway Safety Audits of SR164, Design Development, Funding Identification, Grant Writing, Environmental Planning, Right-of-Way Acquisition, and upcoming project bidding and construction management. The phased bike and pedestrian pathway will offer a dedicated route for vulnerable users along SR164, starting from the City of Auburn's pedestrian facilities in the northwest and extending southeast to the Muckleshoot Tribal properties near the White River Amphitheater. Phase 1 is complete through the design phase and is in need of construction dollars, and the second phase of the project is entering design now. RPP is honored to continue to serve the Muckleshoot Tribe and the vulnerable transportation users in this area.
